## How billing works (token model)

- Every contribution is measured in one unit, the token, whether it comes from an AI model or an engineer.
- Two sources: AI tokens (work done by models) and engineer tokens (work done by inaffect engineers).
- Two directions: input tokens (context, data, requirements, workshops, reviews, tests) are cheap; output tokens (architecture, reviewed and integrated code, layouts, certification, acceptance – the finished, accountable solution) carry the know-how.
- Prices are set per project in the quote; input tokens cost considerably less than output tokens.
- The same currency continues after go-live for support, maintenance and further development.
